This Genki Sushi is located in Kapolei Commons next to Crumbl and Corepower Yoga. The parking lot is large and has never been an issue. Upon arriving to the restaurant, you can scan a QR code to put your name, number and party size and they will text you when your table is ready. We like to come early on the weekends or early for dinner because it does get busy and the wait can get long. We usually don't have to wait too long, especially if you save the QR code link and add your name when you're on your way there. They have lots of booths and counters in the restaurant, but sometimes will not fill the whole place if they are short staffed. Upon being seated you will receive a QR code where you can scan it and order via your phone. There are also plastic menus at the table. You can also order through your server if you choose to. Mostly everything you order comes by train tableside, but if it is a hot item or something special they will deliver it to your table. Some of our favorites to order is their spicy ahi because it's a little different than most places and we like the tanginess of the sweet chili sauce that they use in their ahi. Seafood dynamite has shrimp tempura inside with imitation crab salad on top, finished with torched garlic mayo and unagi sauce. Some fried items such as: agedashi tofu (lightly breaded crispy tofu in a savory sauce, fried squid and vegetable tempura (string beans, mushroom, eggplant, pumpkin). We like to wash it down with some hot green tea (per request). Price is average for the amount and quality that you get. Prices are by plate color and range from $1.95-$6.75. The service is pretty average, but it's not bad. Everyone is friendly and most of the time they're really good about checking on you. Overall, this place has been one of our go-to sushi spot in Kapolei for years and will definitely come back again and again.

My party and I went at 4:30pm on a Saturday. There were not a lot of people so service was quick. Food tasted amazing as per usual. Servers were very attentive in bringing food, water, and the check. My only complaint is cleanliness and prices. The little bullet train and its pad didn't look like they have been cleaned in a while. The prices are HIGH! I feel like a lot of their items are overcharged which is why I dont come as often.

Whenever I come back home to visit, Genki sushi is either my first stop or need to go on my first day. This place definitely changed in the past 3 years. Went around 4pm and got seated quickly. No iPads to order so I figured the staff were going to take our order. Waited 5 mins still no one checking on us so I had asked how do we order and replied, you need to scan the barcode and order on your phone (I thought it's just a menu). So tried ordering, internet wasn't loading so I called someone again and told them it's not loading can they just take my order which they did. Food is always good, a lot of rice in the nigiri which got me fool real quick. Other than the service everything looked the same. I wish they had the iPad and belt still. That was the best part. Not sure if other locations has it.

Genki is our go to spot here in Kapolei. Great choices, service and the ambience is relaxing. Easy ordering, just scan the bar code from the receipt given and order from the menu to send straight to the kitchen. Food sent via the conveyor belt - How awesome is that! Finding parking & waiting can be hectic especially on the weekends, go early or after the rush peak hours. Many choices of sushi, maki rolls, sashimi, deep fried, bento boxes, desserts and more. Enjoy the casual dining, will be coming back soon!
